The Brugh Tavern at Virgina's Explore Park is both restoration project and eating establishment. Orignially built as a private residence between 1780 and 1800, it also served as a tavern during the early decades of the 19th century while under the ownership of the Daniel Brugh family. As you dine in the historic Brugh Tavern, you may wish to reflect upon the thousands of travelers who have shared these spaces with you through time. In a sense, their memories are now yours. As modern keepers of a portion of the Brugh family's continuing legacy, we welcome you to Virgina's Explore Park.
