Red Barn Cafe and Pie Shop
51 Myrtle Street
Hammonton NJ United States
Just at the north end of Hammonton, on Route 206, sits a big red barn. At first glance, one can easily pass this off as a standard farm market and flower shop. When you find the front door though, you enter a cafe that separates this rustic landmark from other farm markets. The Red Barn's bread and butter are homemade pies. According to owner Evelyn Penza, the recipes came from her mother's mother, direct from Italy. Varieties include double crusted apple, pumpkin, mixed fruit, ricotta, and pumpkin ricotta pies. The listed hours are for the cafe. The pie shop is open until 7p.m. daily.
