Petunia's
817 St. Louis St.
New Orleans LA United States
Petunia's is a French Quarter restaurant that has been operational since the mid 1970s. It's name changed to Petunia's in 1984, when they added Cajun and Creole dishes to the crepe-focused restaurant's menu. Petunia's is housed in a 3 story Creole Townhouse erected in the 1830's by Barthelemy Bacas, a noted cabinetmaker of the time. The interior is especially fascinating for his mastery of intricate details of the all cypress millwork including the mantels surrounding the original coal-burning fireplaces. Reservations are recommended.
