In 1999, "Food & Wine" honored chef/owner Jeff Tunks and the restaurant as the "Best New Restaurant in the Nation's Capital in 1999." Guests can bring their own wine provided the same wine is not offered on DC Coast's wine list. There is a corkage fee equal to the least expensive wine on the list of the same format.
