Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar
1736 Wisconsin Avenue NW
Washington DC United States
Chef and owner Bruno Fortin has arguably transplanted France into Georgetown, with Bon Appetit naming Bistrot Lepic one of the top 10 new restaurants in the country, and the <I<Washingtonian awarding it the honor of the best new restaurant in Washington when it opened in 1995. Though the menu is frequently changing, a potential meal could start with black trompet mushroom risotto with fresh snails, an entree of salmon in potato crust, fresh grapes and ouzo grape sauce, and end with one of the chef's dessert creations.
