Grove Ferry Innr, Canterbury, England, United Kingdom

Grove Ferry Innr
Upstreet
Canterbury England United Kingdom

The Grove Ferry Inn was originally a coaching house dating back to 1831. The Inn took its name from a hand-drawn ferry which took people across the River Stour. The Grove Ferry Inn is one of Shepherd Neame's Mulberry Inns which combine authentic, traditional features with a contemporary look and feel. They are unpretentious yet stylish, female-friendly and relaxed. Fresh flowers and candles are a key feature throughout the pub. The pubs are light and bright during the day, however the evening lighting is diffused and atmospheric. The blackboard menu shows the dishes of the day which includes a wide choice of seasonal specials, classic dishes and vegetarian options with a set lunch being around £10 or main courses starting at about £7.50.
