Le Cafe Siam
4 Soi Akson, Chua Ploeng Rd, Rama IV
Bangkok Thailand
A two storey colonial house built in 1921 by one of the engineers of the Royal Railway of Siam. It was later renovated by two French entrepreneurs to now house the Le Cafe Siam restaurant, a home with the elegance of a bygone era. There is an upstairs with cozy small rooms but the complete house is stuffed with handicrafts that are all for sale. Thai and French menus. Garden area is especially nice to dine al fresco during the cool months.
