Albergo Restaurant Cannon d'Oro
Piazza Cavour, 21
Cocconato Piedmont Italy
Situated in the heart of Cocconato d'Asti, a panoramic town in the Monferrato at a height of 500m above sea level, the Cannon d'Oro was founded in 1876 as a traveller's inn, offering mainly typical Monferrato dishes. In the early years of the 20th century, frequent visits by Prince Umberto of Savoy made it increasingly well-known. Today you can still dine in the "prince's room" with its echoes of old Piedmont. The restaurant has various dining rooms, seating from 15 to 150 guests, and is therefore suitable for large groups. It also has outdoor terraces on which one can take pre-dinner aperativi.
