An array of South Indian cuisine, a traditional village set-up, an open kitchen with a display of brass utensils, large jars of colourful chutneys and terracotta walls make up the unique ambience of Sambar. The menu comprises a large variety of South Indian curries, sambhar, rasam, dry and curried vegetables, pachadi (yoghurt) and rice-based dishes such as idlis and uthappams. The meals are served on a vazhaillai, a freshly cut plantain leaf, which completes a South Indian platter experience.
