Pusser's Fort Burt Restaurant
Fort Burt Marina
Tortola - Road Town British Virgin Islands
Serving dinner only seven days a week, the Pusser's Fort Burt Restaurant is arguably the BVI's best restaurant. A Continental Breakfast is available to hotel guests for a modest $5 per person. The dinner menu is changed daily, and features fresh Caribbean food with a classic mix of American and Continental. Caribbean cuisine originates from colonial times when the islands were colonized by the first immigrants and workers from Europe, Africa, Asia, and later America. They brought with them their own culinary culture which they blended and modified eventually with the many flavorful spices and other varied ingredients unique to the Caribbean. Thus, Caribbean cuisine, and that featured at Fort Burt, is a combination of European, African, Indian, and Chinese. It has a big, assertive personality: healthy, flavorful, and pleasurable. Wednesday evenings at Fort Burt are special when the restaurant serves up a Caribbean Buffet.
