Such a small restaurant in neighborhood filled with Asian groceries and restaurants may be easy to overlook but that has not happened with Taste Good. They have been reviewed by just about every paper in New York and they have the clippings in the window to prove it. A lot of attention is paid to their noodle dishes, both in soups (choice of curry or clear broth) and with sauces, but there is a lot of variety on the menu. There are the rare finds like ikan - pangang sting ray (charcoal grilled string ray with special sauce) or spicy squid with water convoloulous (a vegetable) in tangy peanut sauce. And there are the standards of Malaysian restaurants like Hainanese chicken or spicy curries. They claim to be the most authentic, which those who know Malaysian food may be able to decide for themselves. Those who know may also be able to share with others what the significance is of being prepared Ipoh style or Kual Lampour style as noted in the menu for several dishes
