Located at the northern end of the Dupont Circle district, the sole District location of this institution is popular with the alternately staid and rowdy conventioneers from the nearby hotels. It is dark and Victorian in the traditional steakhouse motif, but with decor and service that relax rather than oppress. In addition to the New Orleans-style steak, a selection of seafood and chicken dishes are available, as well as an extensive wine list, but don't expect to find bargains on the menu.
